OUR STORY
Mila and Zaldy started with a love for Filipino cuisine and wanted to share it with others of all cultures. They opened up Casa Manila restaurants 2010 to present.
Born out of a restaurant kitchen, Masaya Gourmet brings you Filipino restaurant-quality sauces and condiments crafted for home cooks and chefs. Food that's natural, wholesome, proudly made in Toronto with love.
We started Masaya Gourmet under the label Sari Sari Pantry during the pandemic, when more people were cooking at home. It was a natural pivot to take our fresh signature restaurant sauces and condiments and offer it to our customers for take out. Today Masaya Gourmet sauces and condiments are shelf stable for one year without using preservatives. The timing is right with many health conscious eaters who have rediscovered the joy of cooking and now with saving time and money.
Today, we continue to develop globally inspired food service products that are mostly plant-based, and minimally processed, with no artificial ingredients, MSG, or preservatives and gluten-free options.
We help cooks turn everyday meals into restaurant quality experiences for gatherings big or small.
We will support and collaborate with those who promote a socially just, community building and spiritually fulfilling world. As a social enterprise company, we will donate 10% of Masaya Gourmet profit to help others help themselves. The story continues...
